I even tried to make this weekend longer by adding a day and a half. Nope, still not enough time! I left Dodge Thursday at noon to head back to Washington, to help my best friend Jessie Gilliam, get married off! Mom, Madison, and I made a quick trip to Manhattan Thursday night for a little shopping and we had a blast! I have the most fun mom and sister in the UNIVERSE!
Friday was a BUSY, HOT, HUMID, and still FUN day! We got the rock building transformed into a beautiful wedding reception venue. I was reminded once again how much I don't miss the humidity at home. You guys can keep it, I'm starting to love this dry atmosphere Dodge has to offer. Jessie did a fantastic job planning her decorations and the place looked very nice! Rehearsal went very well. She had a gorgeous wedding party, and the kids in her wedding were fantastic.
Dan and I headed down to Dad's Friday night to visit him. We had a great visit. Our weekends fill up so fast we don't get a lot of time to just sit down and visit with a lot of people, but we made time for Dad and it was really worth it! We like Dodge City, but just wish we could move it closer to home!
Saturday was super busy and super fun! Look how gorgeous this bride was! And she was so happy all day! I don't think she stopped smiling! I love Aaron so much for making Jessie this happy! We had a great time before and during her wedding. And maybe even too much fun afterwards! Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Doll! I hope you are enjoying Jamaica!
Sunday was a little rough. No, Sunday was a lot rough. But I survived. We had the Bledsoe Family Reunion in Greenleaf. It was a nice turn out! I got to meet Jason & Brit's newest, Dalton. And what a cutie he is! Went back to Moms afterwards and ironed out some wedding details! Can't wait!! Only 47 more days!
All in all, it was a fantastic and super busy weekend. Now I really can't wait for our fantastic and super busy weekend!
