It's the Little Things in life

And the little people for that matter. Dan and I had quite the little people week last week. Some parts we loved, some parts were eye openers, but all in all we made it through it.

My sister Madison and Dan's sister Sharon came and stayed the entire week with us and it was a blast.

I hope they had as much fun as I did. Madison and I started off the week with a trip to the zoo and some shopping in Salina on Sunday. We had so much fun shopping together. Scored a few good buys. The Rolling Hills Zoo in Salina was really impressive. I had never been and we got there early enough that the animals were really active so it was a great trip.

Monday we picked up Cheryl and Sharon. Did a little shopping in town and headed for the house. The girls were so helpful and we made pasta salad and potato salad. They are some little worker bees! We did craft projects for the girls's rooms all week and they turned out so neat! Made some jewelry holders, melted cds into bowls, the girls decorated candles and they looked FANTASTIC! We kinda bummed a lot of the week. Went to All 4 Fun on Thursday night and Sharon whooped us on the go carts. Both the girls got a hole in one at putt putt golf. Friday night, the girls went to Dodge with me so we could get some final touches for BABY GIFTS!!

Thats right, we have 2 new beautiful baby girls to spoil. Klara Kay arrived June 2nd. Klara's daddy and Dan are really good friends. And we got a new neice, Jessie Lynn. Jessie was born June 3rd. So Saturday, when Dan got off work, we loaded up and headed for Salina to meet Jessie. She is such a sweet little girl. Doesn't fuss, is just completely content. I had to mess with her just so I could see her eyes. We think she is pretty great and so does her big sister Madison. Dan is so excited to be Jessie's Godfather. Look out little girl, I see lots of tractors (hopefully RED ones), trucks, boots, and cowboy hats in your future!

Isn't this precious!!

We are pretty blessed to have some awesome little people in our lives. AND NO, we aren't ready for any. We've got too much spoiling to get done with all these new little ones!
