Our Friends and Family are the BEST

Dan and I have got to be some of the luckiest people in the world. We both have the absolute best friends and family and they are constantly doing wonderful things to remind us how great they are! We went back up north June 25th for a very busy weekend. We stopped in Salina on the way so we could see two of our beautiful neices, Madison and Jessie. They are so much fun. I pretty much had to drag Dan out of the Durr's house because he can't get enough of those little girls. But look at them, can you really blame him?

Then Saturday was my bridal shower. AND it was fantastic. I had such a good time and got to see so many people that I wanted to see. And the gifts, my goodness did we strike it rich. (Again, we have the best family and friends) Dan and I got so many nice things. We got silverware, a fire pit, this awesome carrier, awesome house decorations, the neatest lamp, and that's just the start of it. I am so very blessed to have some AMAZING ladies in my life and you all made me feel so very special! And a HUGE thank you to my Aunt Deb and cousin Kristin for putting it all together, you ladies really out did yourselves. Thanks again!

Dan of course spent all day saturday running around trying to visit everyone. I swear our weekends are NEVER long enough. He did get to spend a little time at the farm with Dad and Brock. I don't know how much work gets done but I would sure put money on a few beers got drank!

Saturday night was a fantastic night. We went to Hanover for the fireworks. And of course they were wonderful again. Pat and the PFB Pyros crew do such an amazing job. I think Dan really enjoyed it as well. After fireworks, we met up with Jessie and Aron for a bit so it was nice to be able to catch up with them. We headed down to Don and Stephs for a quick visit after that but it was getting late and of course we were exhausted from a long fun filled weekend so we didn't get to stay as long as we would have liked.

That's just a little catch up for now. July is going to be one busy busy month. We have baptisms, bachelorette parties, showers, weddings, already had a couple birthdays, got more, and Dodge City Days at the end of the month. Hopefully I find time to keep everyone updated!
